Results of Rongtian-MatDEM Scholarship and Guangmen-MatDEM Scholarship

Since its release in May 2018, the Nanjing University MatDEM software has received the help and support of experts and has gradually developed into a universal high-performance discrete element analysis platform. In order to promote the application of the discrete element method and MatDEM software in scientific research and engineering, and encourage and support students to carry out exploratory research, a “MatDEM Scholarship” is set up. Scholarships are for students who use discrete element methods for research and applications.

After effective screening in the early stage, eight students were selected for the online evaluation. Through online voting and expert evaluation, 1 special prize, 2 first prizes and 5 second prizes were generated. The specific assessment results are announced as follows:
