download MatDEM
Please read the document "Installation of MatDEM (important)" in the root folder of the software.
The latest version is recommended. The MatDEM1.32Book is a special version for the book "Matrix Discrete Element Analysis of Geology and Geotechnical Engineering" (Chinese version has been published in June, 2019. English version was published by Springer at the beginning of 2021). The introduction and demo of the examples are available online

The calculating of MatDEM requires the Matlab runtime environment, which is free and available on the Matlab website. Please see the help file.
Click MatDEM.exe to run the software after installation of runtime. MatDEM is currently a free software that can be used for academic research and publishing papers.GPU calculation of MatDEM can be performed with independent graphics card (or laptop).
