Liu Chun and Le Tiancheng participated in the National Engineering Geology Academic Annual Meeting

On October 12-16, the 2018 National Engineering Geology Academic Annual Meeting was successfully held in the ancient city of Xi'an. Liu Chun and undergraduate Le Tiancheng participated in the meeting. The annual meeting centered on the concept of coordinated development of the “One Belt and One Road” and the ecological environment, the major engineering geological problems of cities, transportation, energy, water conservancy and oceans involved in China's major project construction, new era engineering geological new theories, new technologies and major engineering case was discussed in depth.

  Associate Professor Liu Chun introduced the self-developed MatDEM discrete element software with the title of “Development and Engineering Geological Application of Discrete Element Software MatDEM”, and demonstrated its wide application in different fields in combination with engineering applications.
