Pipeline Dislocation Deformation

    The distributed fibre optic mornitoring technique is an effective method to acquire the underground pipe deformation. The tensile deformation of optical fiber can be obtained by monitoring, and the differential settlement is shear deformation. How to transform? This example uses Matdem to simulate and quantitatively analysize the deformation and dislocation of the pipeline during ground settlement, and the corresponding strain to monitor the deformation of the optical fiber. The BoxFiberCouple example is updated with Matdem1.48.

  The numerical simulation was accomplished by Nanjing University, a graduate student Zhang Xaioyu.
