Through secondary development of MatDEM, discrete element model of pile-soil action is quickly established.The simulation ran on a laptop and took 10 minutes to compute.

The figure below shows the vertical stress during the piling process, and the elastic stress wave reflected from the pile bottom can be seen.See the software example BoxPile.

The drawing process of 195,000 units was simulated, which took 10 hours.Applying step-by-step upward displacement to the pile with each upward movement of 0.5mm, we can see the elastic stress wave on the pile.
