The main research work

(1) Theoretical research: Discrete element micro-macro-model, energy transformation, multi-field coupling theory.

(2) System development: Independently inventing a large-scale three-dimensional discrete element software MatDEM for rock and soil, the computational efficiency and unit number are over 30 times  than software PFC.

(3) Engineering applications: Applied to research on sandstone destruction, hydraulic fracturing of shale gas, landslides, and land subsidence, three papers had been published on JGR-Solid Earth.
