Propeller simulation
Matrix Discrete Element 1.932 (MatDEM) adds the screw propeller example user_ScrewConveyor, which is used to simulate the screw conveying material in industrial production. The secondary development code has 170 lines. You can modify the setting size, pitch, speed, etc. by yourself to simulate different working conditions.The software and secondary development code can be downloaded at http://matdem.com.The communication QQ number is: 66890377.
In the following example, the unit radius is 1.8mm, and the total number of units is 550000. Using Dell G7 notebook computer, the numerical simulation takes 3.5 hours and the real world time is 2.832 seconds.
Since version 1.88, matdem has implemented all matrix discrete element methods, greatly improving the computational efficiency of discrete element analysis. The discrete element numerical analysis that used to be completed by high-performance server can be completed in notebook computer.
