Professor Luc Scholtes, a core member of the French Yade R&D team came to visit

On July 11, 2019, at the invitation of Associate Professor Liu Chun, the core member of the Yade R&D team, Professor Luc Scholtes of the University of Lorraine, France, visited and gave a report on the research progress of Yade in the multi-field coupling calculation of hydrothermal

Yade is a widely used open source discrete meta-software in the world. As a core member of the research team, Professor Luc introduced some of Yade's work and progress in discrete elements. After the report, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the research methods and prospects of fluid-solid and multi-field coupling, laying a good foundation for further cooperation and exchange between MatDEM and Yade in the future.
